Privacy summary
TinyProject does not collect, store, sell, or track personal data from the macOS app. Project files are stored locally on the user’s Mac or in locations selected by the user. TinyProject does not operate a backend service for storing project data, Jira data, or integration credentials.
Project files and local data
TinyProject uses native .npproj project documents. These files may contain project plans, task names, dates, dependencies, resources, assignments, reports, baselines, costs, earned-value data, and other project information entered by the user. These files remain local or in user-selected storage locations unless the user explicitly shares or exports them.
Integration credentials
Integration credentials, such as Jira tokens or personal access tokens, are stored locally in macOS Keychain. TinyProject does not send these credentials to TinyProject servers. When the user connects Jira, TinyProject communicates directly from the user’s Mac to the Jira instance selected and authorized by the user.
Subscriptions and purchases
TinyProject subscriptions are handled through Apple StoreKit and the App Store. TinyProject uses Apple-provided entitlement status to unlock subscription features. TinyProject does not operate its own payment-processing service or customer subscription database.
Support requests
If the user submits a support request through this website, the submitted name, email address, request category, description, and standard request metadata such as IP address, browser user agent, and referrer may be saved so the request can be reviewed and answered. Support-request data is used only for support and product-maintenance purposes and is not sold.
No advertising, analytics, or tracking SDKs
TinyProject does not use advertising SDKs, cross-app tracking, analytics SDKs, or telemetry SDKs in the current macOS app. The website package does not include advertising or analytics scripts. Standard hosting logs may still be generated by the web server or hosting provider.
Data sharing
TinyProject does not sell personal data. Data is not shared for advertising or tracking. Data may be processed only when required to provide user-requested functionality, respond to support requests, comply with legal obligations, or connect to external systems selected by the user.
User choices
- Users can keep project files local and avoid integrations.
- Users can delete local project files they no longer need.
- Users can remove stored integration credentials from macOS Keychain.
- Users can choose not to submit a website support request.
